On March 17 and 18, 2022, the time had come again. The first MJR Team Meeting in 2022 was announced. (Almost) all colleagues of MJR GmbH met to talk about the current status of the projects, the pipeline or strategic topics. (Due to Corona, we unfortunately had some last-minute cancellations, which was a pity). Besides new projects, our two new colleagues were then officially introduced to the MJR team. On the one hand Julia Eberle, who will be working in marketing. And on the other hand Illia Borodin from Ukraine, who will work as a software developer for us from April 1st.
Like at the last meeting last October, we met in the conference room of the Amthof 12 in Oberderdingen.
On Thursday morning, our CEO Michael Raber personally opened the agenda and gave a short update on the current topics.
After that, Marcel Kosel presented us the sales updates on the current customers & customer projects. After the lunch break we went to the speed kart track in Keltern. There we had a small company tournament followed by an award ceremony. Here everyone could really step on the gas. The track allows the drivers to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h with their karts.
On Friday morning, Julia Eberle opened the day and gave a brief insight into the planned marketing activities and thus your future tasks. Afterwards, Michael Raber & Marcel Kosel presented their „special project Ukraine“, which had kept them and actually the whole team busy for the last 2 weeks. The short film about the MJR Ukraine aid project in cooperation with the travel agency Wöhrle and Projekt Eye from Bretten can be watched on Youtube.
Our colleague on maternity leave Tanja Schäfer also stopped by at the Amthof with her two twins at noon on Friday and thus came with her girls just in time for the team photo. In addition to the team photo (which was unfortunately not quite complete again due to corona), current and uniform employee photos were also taken of the employees present.
After lunch we went for a short walk, to clear our heads again, to the „Derdinger Horn“. A viewing platform in the vineyard in Oberderdingen, which allows the view over the entire Kraichgau and even further, as long as the weather permits.
After an open discussion round in the afternoon, we then went to the Restaurant „Zum Schwarzen Schwanen“ in Oberderdingen for pizza and pasta as a cozy finale to the two days.
It was nice to have (almost) all colleagues at one table and to have also time for personal conversations in addition to the internal updates. We are already planning two more meetings in July and October 2022 and hope to have a full house again.
