On October 26th and 27th, we held our third and also last MJR Team Meeting in 2023. Here is a short report about our program on the two days.
Thursday
On both days we met in the morning in the old schoolhouse of the community Oberderdingen. The catering there was done by the team of Grünstolz, which among other things also runs a restaurant in Bretten.
At about 9:30 a.m. the presentations started. Our CEO Michael Raber opened the meeting and gave the team an update on general business topics. Here, for example, the current strategy and developments within MJR GmbH were presented. We continued with an update on sales activities, current leads and customer projects from our Sales Manager Marcel Kosel, this time from the office in Bali. Julia Eberle also gave an overview of the past marketing activities in 2023 and the planned activities in 2024.
In the afternoon, after the lunch break, we continued with karting in Keltern. By popular request of some of our team members, the skills on the track could be tested during qualifying and 30-lap races. So the winners in the two groups this time were Michael Raber and Yusef Önkol. They each secured first place on the podium.
Friday
On Friday morning, our trainee Jannik opened the day with an overview of functions in MS Teams and OneNote. Afterwards, Jan Philipp Raber presented the results of the June workshop on „Project organization“. Furthermore, Yusef Önkol presented further ideas and solutions for independent project organization.
In the afternoon, we set off together in the direction of Sinsheim. There was planned a visit to the technology museum. Vehicles and technology from various eras are exhibited in three different halls. A highlight is certainly the Concorde on the roof of hall 2. At the joint dinner in the „Neue Bahnhof“ in Sinsheim we could end the meeting days quite comfortably.
