On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, our sales team Michael Raber, Marcel Kosel and Nikola Slovic met for a joint exchange at the offices of the startup HYPT in Stuttgart. The offices of HYPT with loft character are only 10 minutes away from Stuttgart’s main train station. So in a top location in the middle of Stuttgart. The rooms were once a sewing shop and are partly undergroundA fruit basket and a ping-pong table give the modernized rooms real startup character.
Marius Hetterich runs the startup together with his two colleagues Niklas and Stephan. They were also present in our roundtable discussion.
Our CEO Michael has known Marius for many years through their common hobby of table tennis. (Marius plays for the TTC Bietigheim-Bissingen).
In the meeting, topics such as change management, but also BI and eCommerce were discussed. You can roughly say that HYPT is responsible for everything around the ERP. They describe themselves here as impulse givers but also implementers! At MJR, the responsibility lies more in the core ERP.
Another topic was sustainability according to CSRD. Sustainability reporting by companies will change profoundly in the future. This is specified by a new EU directive on corporate sustainability reporting (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, or CSRD). The CSRD’s reporting requirements will initially apply to a restricted group of companies for financial years beginning on January 1, 2024. This will be applied in the HYPT and MJR environment, especially for machine connectivity and their BI tools.
There was an exciting exchange with the team from HYPT and our MJR sales team. Even after 4 hours the topics did not stop. Thus, a lot of new input could be generated here. The next meeting is already planned for January. TO BE CONTINUED…
Fun Fact: Also at HYPT (like at MJR) there is an office dachshund, little Nyssa. In total there are even 3 office dogs at HYPT.
