On Sunday the 24.04.2022 the last home match of the TTC Bietigheim-Bissingen e.V. took place in the sports hall in Untermberg. The opponent on this Sunday was the team of the 1st FSV Mainz 05. The match started punctually at 4 pm.
The men 1 team of the TTC Bietigheim-Bissingen e.V. with the players Alexander Valuch, Tal Israeli, Jeromy Löffler and Oskar Pukk under head coach Andreas Kienle were in good shape. After all, the chances of winning the championship early and thus advancing to the 3rd Table Tennis Bundesliga were more than good.

Already the intermediate score of 5:0 for the hosts of the TTC Bietigheim-Bissingen after about one hour made the confidence for the promotion grow.
With a clear victory of 10:0 won games for Bietigheim and exciting duels against the 1. FSV Mainz 05 the championship in the Regionalliga Südwest was won and the entry into the 3rd Tischtennis Bundesliga Süd was secured.

Topspin-University Bietigheim
With the Topspin-University in Bietigheim, TSU for short, the TTC has found a great opportunity to promote young talents in table tennis and to build up its own future tournament teams. Thus, the quality of the TTC teams can also be increased in the long term. Up to eight students can move their residence to Bietigheim and fully concentrate on table tennis. The TTC Bietigheim-Bissingen receives great feedback from players from all over the world in the Topspin-University.
